All about Oma
What is an "Oma" you may ask?
My grandchildren call me Oma. Oma is the German word for grandmother. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to Arizona in 2004.
Yoga has been part of my life for some time, but in 2020 I took my Yoga practice a step further and became a certified 200-hour Yoga teacher. I also obtained a certification in Yoga and Mindfulness for children. I am registered with Yoga Alliance, insured and CPR certified. I am excited to see where this path leads me.
The inspiration for "Yoga with Oma" came from my grandchildren. Without them I wouldn't be Oma, therefore I dedicate each practice to them. I am looking forward to the time I can actually practice Yoga with them. Currently we live on opposite sides of the country.
My passion is to share Yoga with my community. Yoga is for everyone, and I hope you decide to practice Yoga with me!
With gratitude,
Oma
